55th anniversary of my first contact and entry into the tribes of Southern Mexico.
May 8th to May 15th 2019.
Wed. May 8 Travel – Flight to Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas and land travel to San Cristobal Las Casas.
Bruce will be there teaching a modular class to preachers through Friday morning May 10. Friday afternoon to Yochib-mother church of Tzeltal Oxchuc tribe. Yochib has started over 70 congregations and pioneered work in Tzotzil Chamula tribe. Services night May 10.
Saturday, May 11- Travel to Yajalón, 75 miles, for dedication of new building.
Sunday, May 12 – Village of Emiliano Zapata – the very first Congregation of all Chiapas State. My first trip in was on foot – 42 miles – 19 hours hike on mountain trail.
Monday, May 13 – Yochib.
Tuesday, May 14 – Concuc, country seat town of 3,500 with 3 churches and Radio Redención. 2nd. Anniversary of radio station and 55th. Anniversary – Now over 200 congregations and work in 8 different languages, scriptures have been translated and are now being proof-read and triple checked in Tzeltal Chilón, Tzeltal Oxchuc and Tzotzil San Andres.
